My core facilitation principles

Spaces for different minds

Some people are talkers and some are quiet reflectors. I make sure my workshops have spaces for everyone.

My authentic self

I bring my honest authentic and vulnerable self to invite and encourage others to share more of themselves.

Focused on the outcome

Workshops are great, but only if we arrive at a destination and something has changed or shifted.

Design challenges

I design and lead workshops that spark creativity, alignment, and breakthrough ideas. From guiding innovation teams at Walgreens & Boots to running hackathons for teens, my approach blends structured methods with real-world pragmatism—ensuring ideas move from concept to action.

Whether it’s a high-energy ideation sprint or a custom workshop, I create spaces where bold thinking and practical execution come together.

Sample design workshops

From vision to value: defining your winning proposition

Shape a proposition with clarity and focus with clear next steps

Problem-Solving Workshops

Unlock your team by reviewing research, data, and insights to focus around a problem.

Run a design sprint
around an idea

Rapidly create and test ideas for products or services.

Team challenges

Great teams don’t just happen—they’re built on trust, strong relationships, and a clear shared purpose. I help teams deepen understanding, navigate challenges, and align on strategy through thoughtfully crafted sessions.

Whether facilitating team reflections at Parkinson’s UK, or running ‘Skills marketplace’ sessions at John Lewis, I create inclusive, outcome-driven workshops where every voice is heard, and meaningful progress is made.

Sample team workshops

Team retrospective

Create a neutral, supportive space for your team to reflect, hear each other, gain insights, and align on the best path forward.

Break down silos and build relationships

Harness the power of deep listening and storytelling to foster connection, reveal hidden talents, and strengthen team collaboration.

Custom workshops

I’ll design and run a workshop around your specific goals / outcomes. I can match the tone and style needed for your organisation.

I never thought someone who is used to working in a corporate environment would be able to engage 40 teenage girls for 2 days in a fun and interactive way, teaching them ideation, UX, prototyping tools and programming using Scrum and Agile.  Our hackathon would not have been the success that it was without Danny.
